Ar Staff AccountantA well-established organization is seeking a staff accountant to join its tenured accounting team. This is a direct-hire opportunity with strong stability, great team culture, and excellent benefits. The organization is looking to move quickly, with interviews beginning next week.About the RoleThe staff accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable, cash handling, reconciliations, membership revenue support, and fixed asset management. This is a hands-on role within a close-knit team of five and reports directly to the accounting supervisor.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and post cash receipts, checks, ACH, credit card payments, and EFTsPerform full-cycle AR: invoicing, tracking payments, reconciliations, and resolving discrepanciesPrepare and process bank depositsReconcile client accounts and maintain accurate AR agingEnter fixed assets into Sage Intacct and manage depreciation schedulesSupport membership billing and revenue tracking (training provided if needed)Assist with month-end AR close processesWork collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive team cultureWhat They're Looking For25 years of accounting experience, ideally AR-focusedStrong reconciliation skills and comfort handling high-volume cash activityExperience with ACH, credit card payments, EFTs, and client account reconciliationExposure to Sage Intacct preferred (training available)Membership revenue experience is a plusProficiency in Excelespecially VLOOKUP and pivot tablesBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business related required (international degrees accepted)Soft skills: collaborative, curious, strong communicator, integrity-driven, team-oriented, self-starterCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000-$65,000 / AnnuallyBonus: Up to $5,000 end of year bonus (dependent on performance)Benefits: Employer-paid medical, dental, vision14 PTO days + 3 floating holidays + 10 sick daysLife insurance and family leave (up to 12 weeks after year one)Parking & Transit: Onsite garage with cost shared between employer and employee.
