Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities.Your role on the team:Consolidates client orders into optimal load profiles and assigns carriers to loads utilizing the Transportation Management System (TMS)Responsible for load planning, optimization, routing and scheduling of all transportation modesDevelops and implements final stage system parameters that drive system load assignments that identify, build and book hundreds of loads per day in compliance with client routing expectations, driving financial impact to clientResponds to client needs by answering e-mails, calls, tracking and moving shipmentsServes as the daily direct point of contact for client; direct point of contact for client issues that require immediate attentionRecommends corrective action to client or executives to adjust customer complaintsFrom a macro level, monitors and ensures on-time pick-up and delivery based on reports provided by Transportation Sr Coordinators and Coordinators dailyNegotiates with carriers daily and makes decisions on behalf of client within individual client parameters (e.g., up to $1,000 within the lowest rate); makes best financial decision as representative for clientExpedites shipments when necessary on behalf of clientCreates, analyzes and presents financial and service reports to clients on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis; provides load exception reportingResponsible for leading daily, weekly and monthly meetings with client and GEODIS leadership, as requiredLeads carrier on-boarding calls and performance calls on behalf of client(s) to ensure carrier leadership and Operations personnel handle freight in accordance with client's expectationsDevelops materials for and leads client QBR meetings (client executives, GEODIS executives, Transportation Management groups, etc.)Responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives that improve service, financial savings, efficiency, productivity, and communication to client and GEODISDevelops cost saving opportunities in excess of at least $20,000 per assigned client per yearWorks with IT implementation team to validate and improve TMS performance; assists with strategic initiatives to increase automation and efficiencyDetermines work procedures related to assigned clients and ensures that the Book of SOPs is accurate; provides quarterly updates to Training AdministratorCoordinates with FAP on invoice resolution and carrier escalationValidates and approves accrual reports provided by Central Billing Team before clients are billed each weekProvides cross-training to coordinators, senior planners and supervisors as each is expected to be able to step in and support client(s) at any given time; is cross-trained on operational responsibilities for at least two additional clients in order to support when neededWhat you need:Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 1 year experience in customer service or coordinator roleExperience with Transportation Management SystemsExperience with optimization tools preferredPC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and ExcelExcellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customersExcellent planning and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskWhat you gain from joining our team:Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness appFree telemedical access to doctors and therapists through First Stop Health is available on the first day of employmentHealth, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment401k matchPaid maternity and parental leaveAccess to career development, employee resource groups, and mentorship programsEmployee discountsAccess to employee perks like fitness class discounts and free access to a relaxation and meditation appFree financial wellness programsDaycare discount programOpportunities to volunteer and give back to your communityAnd moreJoin our TeamVisit our website at workatGEODIS.com and chat with our virtual recruiter, Sophie, to fast-track your way to an interview.ORText DELIVER to 88300 to Apply1
