Player Services CashierCherokee Casino Grove is looking for someone to join our Player Services Cashier team. As a Player Services Cashier, you will facilitate a variety of cash and non-cash transactions, assist guests with rewards program enrollment, and promote casino events and offers. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, safeguarding assets, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced gaming environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume cash and non-cash transactions including chip redemption, check cashing, and voucher redemptionsEnroll guests in the One Star Rewards program and issue membership cardsPromote ongoing casino promotions and explain program benefitsConduct basic player evaluations and outbound scripted callsVerify and distribute jackpot payments and complete required documentationMaintain accountability for ATMs, kiosks, and cage transactionsReconcile daily transactions and ensure accuracy of funds exchangedHandle guest requests and disputes professionally, escalating when neededMaintain confidentiality of guest and casino informationKeep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredOne year of cash handling or customer service experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong mathematical accuracy and attention to detailAbility to learn and explain casino games, promotions, and amenitiesProficient in computer software relevant to the roleAbility to make sound decisions in guest service situationsMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and liability insuranceAbility to obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authorityCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working varied shifts including weekends and holidaysComfortable working in environments with crowd noise and second-hand smokeAbout UsFor more than two decades, Cherokee Casino has been Oklahoma's premier destination for gaming, live entertainment, and extraordinary experiences.
