Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of furniture pieces from concept to final product.
- Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and functional furniture designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new collections.
- Research current design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Assist in preparing presentations and design proposals for internal team reviews.
- Support the design team in day-to-day tasks and project management.
- Communicate effectively with other cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure designs meet brand standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks).
- Strong creative and artistic skills with a passion for furniture design.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required.
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week.
