Our retail client is looking for a Copywriter with 2+ years' expeirence to jump in immediatley to support project work for new branding going live in October. You will be working on entering data to make sure brand data is correct for a new campaign and also contributing new copy for product descriptions


Responsibilities:

  • As the copywriter, you'll bepPulling all product information from the company site as a baseline to write copy
  • Fill any gaps for copy desired on the signage for each product (POP, large format signage, collateral)
  • Working with our merchandising team for feedback, revisions and approvals
  • Champion the brand's voice standards and messaging strategy to drive brand consistency and evolution.
  • Utilize metrics and other data (especially customer insights) to guide smarter creative decisions.
  • Work closely with your cross-functional partners.
  • You'll be responsible for maintaining seamless communication, understanding and influencing their priorities and goals, and effectively producing creative that supports (and furthers) those objectives.
  • Engage in thoughtful critiques with creative peers and cross-functional partners, both responding positively to and offering constructive feedback.
  • Do all of the above in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are daily and the volume of work is high.
  • Experience:
  • Some experience writing for products, entering data regarding products
  • Deeply obsessed with home furnishings, retail or fashion
  • Endlessly curious about the customer – their passions, needs, and pain points.
  • An expert collaborator and someone who works well with other writers and designers.
  • Strong ability to articulate your ideas and opinions and self-advocate, with proof points to ground them.
  • Known for your meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask, and robot-like organizational powers.
