Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee production areas, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, within specification, and on budget. This role involves managing compliance, coordinating daily routines, and ensuring adherence to company SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Address any non-compliance issues, ensuring all SOPs and policies are followed.
- Daily Coordination: Manage daily routines and efficiently assign jobs to personnel.
- Safety and Documentation: Investigate, report, and document all accidents; maintain proper record-keeping and inventory controls; ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of waste.
- Training: Train employees on cGMP, SOP, GDP, and other company and regulatory guidelines.
- Performance Management: Evaluate team performance, manage process equipment, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage with team leaders and employees to enhance processes and performance; review and update SOPs; support employee suggestions for improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Apply rapid problem-solving techniques to address issues related to productivity and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in a professional setting with at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device GMPs and experience with Quality Systems.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred.
