Software Engineering Lead


We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Lead with a proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams. As the Software Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in guiding engineers, ensuring successful project execution, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to set priorities, develop schedules, and create a strategic roadmap for the engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Optimize existing software development processes, ensuring consistency and best practices across multiple product development initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Create long-term product roadmaps while ensuring short-term sprint goals are achieved.
  • Training & Development: Develop and manage technical training programs to enhance the team's expertise.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineers across different disciplines to define software requirements and support technical design initiatives.
  • Team Culture: Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team environment.


Qualifications:

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or Electrical), Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • 3+ years in a technical lead or engineering management role.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.
