This Bridgewater, NJ/ Innovation Center role is full-time, on-site. If you have scientific upstream bioanalytical experience lets talk Minimum Education Requirement: BS in biochemistry, chemical engineering or relevant scientific discipline Required Experience (2 yr.): Conducting hands-on bioanalytical testing needed for product/protein characterization, process optimization and/or product commercialization. Utilizing HPLC based bioanalytical techniques to characterize proteins and/or peptides, antibodies, amino acids and/or other materials (IE: HPLC/UPLC, SEC, LC-MS) Utilizing protein and/or cell-based bioanalytical techniques (IE: SDS-PAGE, ELISA, cell based assays, Western Blot, glycosylation and/or peptide/amino acid characterization tools). Preparing reports, publications, and oral presentations to advance projects, to resolve process/product issues and customer complaints, to support development/characterization and/or for technical problem-solving activities. Preferred Experience: Researching, developing, and transferring bioanalytical and/or cell based methods for intermediate and finished goods release testing and stability studies/shelf-life determination. cGMP, Compendia, FDA, ICH / regulatory agency requirements Collaboration skills (IE: Microsoft Office, ELN). The Research Scientist Biopharma Upstream Processes will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team of scientists focused on the development of new products. The successful applicant will: Have a broad background in the biochemical sciences, hands-on experience and knowledge of bio analytical techniques, and be curious to learn and adopt new skills. Work with cross-functional teams to address analytical challenges by using various bioanalytical methodologies to define product quality, characterization of proteins and support product specifications. Interface with project teams to drive projects to completion and resolve challenges related to characterization of various molecules and processes. Work with customers and internal organizations to address any issue or to assist in the evaluation of products.
