Pay rate: $70 (conversion salary 150-160k)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Interview Process: 10 minute screening, 1 main technical round, 1 final interview

DESCRIPTION:

A client in the financial/mortgage services industry is looking for Sr. Full-stack Engineers to join their new technology division. This is an entirely new project currently in the planning phase. You will be setting standards and creating a new codebase from scratch with other full-stack engineers, focusing on creating a new pricing application for the company. The codebase will be written in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and use serverless AWS functions. This is an onsite position, the priority location is Cary, NC but they are also open to Agoura Hills, CA if needed

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 6-7+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer (backend leaning preferred)
  • Strong background with JavaScript + TypeScript for frontend
  • Thorough understanding of Node.js for backend
  • Background in a microservice oriented environment
  • Serverless technology architecture, development, and delivery experience (preferably using AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EventBridge)
  • Strong comunciation skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines, preferred but not required

Compensation:

$150k-$160k after conversion, $70/HR for first 6 months

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
