Job Description:

This company is a world-class shipbuilding firm in Marinette, Wisconsin and one of the largest shipbuilders in the US. They build ships for the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and government agencies. They specialize in new construction, ship repair and maintenance, and conversions for domestic and foreign commercial markets. Our client is looking for AutoCAD 2D/3D Designers to support a large ship building company in Marinette, WI. This individual will be either creating designs from scratch or monitoring and updating engineering requests, authorizations, and changes. They will be supporting the piping department and making the requested changes in AutoCAD. Any shipbuilding background would be a strong addition to the team. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience working with AutoCAD designs and/or engineering change papers in maritime piping design.
