The ideal candidate will be a seasoned pediatric nurse with a passion for training and mentoring other nurses. As a Pediatric Nursing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our young patients while overseeing and guiding a team of dedicated pediatric nurses.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to pediatric nurses within the organization.
  • Develop and implement training programs for pediatric nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge in pediatric care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all aspects of pediatric care delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to pediatric nurses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for pediatric nurses, offering support and guidance in complex patient cases.
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring processes for pediatric nursing staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pediatric care protocols and procedures, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Active RN license in the NY / NJ / CT areas.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with demonstrated expertise in pediatric care.
  • Prior experience in pediatric nurse training and supervision strongly preferred.
  • Pediatric Nurse Certification (CPN) or other relevant certifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations and standards pertaining to pediatric nursing.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care to pediatric patients and their families.
