About the Role We are seeking a System Development Engineer to support our Event Engineering team. This team is responsible for ensuring the video quality and stability of large and/or strategically important streaming events. You will be part of a team of Event Engineers that supports events by assisting in event planning, providing an onsite presence during events, serving as a technical point of contact for third parties, engaging in high touch onboarding, troubleshooting video problems and supporting feature development activities such as Enhanced Broadcasting. You can work in San Francisco, CA or Irvine, CA. You Will: Provide pre-production consulting, capacity planning, preflight testing and active monitoring for events from both remote and onsite contexts Act as a technical point of contact for third-parties Engage in high-touch onboarding for Twitch partners, VIPs and other strategic individuals Troubleshoot video problems for other Twitch teams Assist product teams with video-related Twitch feature development You Have: 2+ years of experience designing live production setups Proven ability to deliver under pressure in a live environment. Preferably TV or streaming video.
