Controller PositionThe Controller is a talented, self-driven, and high-energy individual in the Electronics division providing financial support as it relates to variance analysis, support for cost reduction and margin expansion opportunities for the Concord location. This person must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills is a must with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent organizational and strong time management skills, detail-oriented, and a professional demeanor.

What You'll Do

Preparing various monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Concord location, including various bridge analysisReview and investigation of variances during the month, including scrap, material usage, purchase price variances, and direct laborBe responsible for the month-end close and journal entries, as well as review, analysis, and reporting for inventory balancesCoordinate annual standards rollWork with the manufacturing team to identify, validate, and report cost reduction opportunitiesWork with the commercial organization as well as the manufacturing team to evaluate customer margins and opportunities for margin expansionPrepare capital expenditure requests as necessary for the businessAssist in the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets, along with other reporting requirementsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years of experience with a background that includes accounting experience in manufacturing operations or relevant audit experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, able to work with complex spreadsheets, and able to understand and complete complex Excel templates with business historical trends and explanatory informationWhat We Value:Experience with SAP Business One is a plusDemonstrated experience in being a strong and collaborative business partner with an organization to help facilitate ongoing improvements
