The Opportunity:

  • The firm are seeking a talented and motivated Real Estate Finance Associate to join their dynamic team in Chicago.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate finance matters, collaborating with experienced attorneys and contributing to the success of our clients' projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex real estate finance transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing arrangements.
  • Conduct due diligence, review legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients on real estate finance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase agreements, leases, and other related contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in real estate finance.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate finance transactions at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance concepts, including lending structures, due diligence, and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
