Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day). Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

Any returning travelers within 1 year will not require orientation classes. Please make sure to indicate this on your submission.

2 years ICU exp required,must have 1 yr of Level 1 trauma exp in high acuity PCU.

PCU, Med/Surg, Tele experience required.

Must have critical thinking skills., able to work with patients that may need rapid response.

Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by

Will orient to other transitional units.

RTO - must be presented at time of submission. Any time off sent after the offer will not be approved.

Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler

Must pass EKG exam

NIHSS Accepted: AHA/American Stroke Association/NIHSS/Apex solutions/AACME.

References: Two references required. One reference within 6 months; one reference within a year. Can be from a Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor.
