Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rochester, NY)

Location: Various healthcare facilities in Rochester, NY (specifically not within 50 miles)

Compensation:

Total weekly compensation: $3,062.00

Hours:

36-40 hours per week
Rotating shifts including nights, days, and mid-shifts

Job Responsibilities:

Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines.

Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper technique for quality diagnostic images.

Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accuracy of patient demographic information.

Maintain patient records and adhere to all regulatory and departmental policies.

Specific Requirements:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

State licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of New York.

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong Fluoroscopy and OR skills - Looking for someone who rates high in this area. Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable CARM experience.
Moderate Sedation, OR, ED Trauma and Fluoroscopy Exams.

Additional Information:

Expected to work every other weekend.
NYS DOH Rad Tech Licensure (prior to start date)[An out of state Rad Tech License is allowed as a candidate if aware that they must apply and receive the NYS license prior to their start date.]
Does NOT accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
