Plant Location: Auburn, WA
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed designs for food processing machinery, bakery equipment, mixers, dyers, fryers, oven equipment, Electrical Appliances OR conveyor systems using SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
- knowledge of GD&T, sheet metal component design, manufacturing drawings is must.
- Lead design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct testing, and make necessary adjustments to designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations, including health and safety requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design processes and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in designing Electrical Appliances and conveyor systems.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the food processing industry and relevant standards and regulations.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical drawing and 3D modeling skills. Ability to conduct FEA and other engineering analyses.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
