Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking experienced and/or senior level project management specialists to join our Boeing Converted Freighters team in Long Beach, California or Seattle, Washington. In this role, the focus will be on ensuring program management best practices are executed to ensure success in the product lines.Position Responsibilities:Prime point of contact for Boeing customerManage customer expectations and deliverablesModification SOW, configuration and change management ownerResponsible for the comprehensive execution of schedule and cost performance, including estimate at completeRisk, issues and opportunity managementUse written & communication skills to effectively develop product or services statement of work (SOW) that will satisfy airline customer requestsWork with the airline customer and the modifications integrated product team (IPT) to develop SOW and ensure the overall proposal quality and accuracy relative to deliverables, capacity, costs and schedule prior to customer offerIdentify and manage future changes to statement of work and incorporate lessons learned for future offeringsUpon customer acceptance of a product or service, this person will lead project execution to complete the work statement, manage performance metrics to plan, identify and coordinate resources required, and coordinate with internal and external customers to complete the project per planClose interaction with engineering, suppliers, airline customers, Q/A, operations, finance and airplane regulatorsDrive improvement initiatives to the programBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):10+ years of relevant experience in project management7+ years of experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities7+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners5+ years of experience with developing and delivering presentations to senior leadersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degreeExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM toolExperience in contracts and proposalsBusiness and/or project degrees & certifications (e.g. PMP, MBA, SSGB)Prior experience with project management experienceDrug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a total rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
