ProPath, a Sonic Healthcare USA company is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced, Director of Molecular Pathology to join our laboratory team in the Dallas, Texas area. While fellowship training in molecular pathology is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. We are looking for a productive MD, Ph.D., or equivalent professional with excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and a strong passion for advancing molecular pathology. To qualify for this position, you should be a board-certified pathologist, a physician in a specialty other than pathology, or a doctoral scientist with specialized training and/or relevant experience in molecular pathology. Experience in oncology molecular and cellular tumor markers, as well as virology for molecular methods, is required. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of laboratory training or experience in high-complexity testing is necessary. Clinical research experience and publication of work are preferred, along with expert knowledge of clinical testing processes and procedures. Experience in a laboratory would be a plus.
