Job Description Title: Senior Accountant Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (onsite position) Job Type: Permanent/Direct-Hire Compensation: $85,000-100,000 --- Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to support a fast-growing organization with over four decades of success. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a CPA looking to advance into leadership while contributing to high-impact financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead core corporate accounting functions including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal reporting packages. Ensure compliance with GAAP by researching and interpreting accounting standards and supporting internal policy development. Monitor internal controls and assist with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements. Manage and execute special projects as assigned. Collaborate across accounting teams, serving as a trusted resource and partner. Maintain hands-on involvement with journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules while contributing to strategic financial initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
