Industrial / Commercial ElectricianWe are seeking a Industrial / Commercial Electrician for assignment in Greensburg, Indiana. The selected candidate will support the Facility Maintenance Team in the preventative, corrective and general maintenance of facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus and other plant devices.Hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.This is a 2nd Shift positionThis position requires successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical schoolResponsibilitiesPerform equipment checks & PMsStart/Stop, troubleshoot, repair and maintain FAC equipmentRead and understand system blueprints, specifications and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts or pipesInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment; Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment; Connects cables and wires between machines and equipmentDiagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables and fusesDismantles malfunctioning systems and tests componentsReplaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors and position sensing devicesPlans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in buildingsResponsible for accurate and timely paperworkPerforms preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipmentQualificationsA valid Drivers LicenseCompletion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical school5+ years experience in an industrial or commercial environmentExperience with high voltage switches, substations, busway and bus plugs, MCC, transformers, breakers, panels, disconnectsWell versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers and amp-probesExperience with both single phase and three phaseTraining in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives and PLC / BMS controls is highly preferred
