Vice President, Corporate Sector ControllersJPMorgan Chase is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Corporate Sector Controllers team. As a Financial Controller - Vice President within Corporate Sector Controllers, you will lead and manage the financial controls supporting several Corporate Functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Job responsibilities include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards. You will manage the reconciliation and substantiation processes for the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business and financial initiatives and provide insights into financial performance. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement is also part of the role. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies, driving process improvements and efficiencies within the financial control function, and providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members are essential duties. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, minimum of 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or related roles, with a strong background in the banking or financial services industry, experience with reconciliation and substantiation of the general ledger, proven track record of managing and leading high-performing teams, in-depth knowledge of financial control processes, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles, strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systems. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or CPA.
