## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing care and therapy to our long-term and rehab residents

## Responsibilities
· The SLP is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of residents who demonstrate disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Evaluation and treatment will only be conducted after a written order is received from the physician.

· screening of residents.

· completion of all necessary documentation.

· to attending all required facility meetings and in-services, including Medicare meetings, patient staffing, family meetings, care plans.

· The SLP will, in cooperation with the FACILITY THERAPY MANAGER, develop programs appropriate to the needs of the residents in the facility, to assist them in achieving their highest feasible level of functioning.

· assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state, federal, and other appropriate certification.

· follow all appropriate facility infection control policies and procedures and will respect and follow OBRA Resident’s Rights Guidelines.

· Appropriate scheduling of residents on caseload in addition to all required in-services and meetings.

· The SLP will present her/himself in a professional manner at all times including professional conduct, professional communication, and appropriate dress while in the facility.

## Skills
- Experience in patient assessment and speech therapy
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient, school, and medical environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Pay: $36.00 - $48.51 per hour
