Hiring Immediately Overnight shifts available (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 12 hour shifts) Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Manatee and Sarasota(SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our client’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Qualifications:

· Experienced CNA or HHA

· Enjoy working with our senior population

· Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual

· Understand the importance of our services to our seniors

· Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission

· High level of emotional intelligence

· Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan

· Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job

· Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism

· Be proactive to find ways to help our seniors once tasks have been completed

Companionship Duties may include:

· Provide Companionship

· Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

· Shopping and Errands

· Meal Preparation

· Medication Reminders

· Pet Care

· Overnight Supervision

· Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, friends, etc.

Personal Care Duties may include:

· Assist with Dressing

· Assist with Feeding

· Assist with Showering / Bathing

· Mobility Assistance

· Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

· Memory Care
