Hello Special Education Teachers

Come work with a woman and therapist run company Ampersand Therapy is seeking to elevate the employment experience of working in schools. We are hiring a Special Education teacher in Oakdale, MN for the remainder of the 24-25 school year.

Job Details:

  • Special Education Teacher (Multiple Needs)
  • Full time, 8 hours/day
  • Work with Special Education Team to implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs
  • Serve as a case manager for students by: developing and maintaining IEPs & facilitating IEP meetings
  • Create a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

  • Valid MN teaching license in a special education field (Tier 2-4 preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience teaching K-12 students
  • Training and experience in behavior management and knowledge of crisis response
