Responsibilities:

  • Manage the requirements for various Application teams by overseeing data entry, validation, and maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define CMDB requirements and implement best practices for data governance.
  • Conduct data validation for entries into CMDB to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of CMDB processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align CMDB data with Business App teams, their processes, and IT infrastructure changes.
  • Use specific expertise in CMDB for management and data validation as well as broader communication and leadership skills to coordinate tasks among different groups.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in CMDB management and configuration management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT configuration management, (ServiceNow), or related roles.
  • 3-4 years experience in a lead cross-functional role such as Project Manager, Program Manager, or Program Coordinator
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB tools and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of data validation practices for CMDB entries.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework, especially Configuration Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.


Additional Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Prior experience within ServiceNow as Admin or Developer (CMDB module specifically).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Planview, etc).
  • Knowledge of IT Asset Management Principles, ITSM, ITIL, IT Service Management Framework.
