THE WORK


Our client seeks a Corporate Assistant General Counsel with 8+ years of experience to join their team that will be responsible for a wide range of transactional, compliance, corporate governance and commercial matters in their Atlanta office. As the Corporate AGC, you will play a crucial role in assisting with reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts such as financial services agreements, supply, procurement, services, sales and distribution agreements, marketing and sponsorship contracts, investment agreements, and technology agreements. Additionally you will be helping to provide strategic counsel to senior executives.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with heavy corporate experience, along with being a member of a US State Bar
  • Top law firm experience and/or extensive in-house corporate and transactional experience strongly preferred
  • Travel Required: 10% - 20%

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:


  • Legal Review: The role will require knowledge of and experience in handling a variety of corporate matters including governance, due diligence, M&A, finance and corporate transactions.
  • Cross Team Integration: Work collaboratively with internal clients in North America, EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Latin America on a variety of legal matters.
  • Collaborate across the organization with various groups and functional leaders in Innovation, Human Resources, Engineering, IT, Finance, Safety, Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, Service, Aftermarket, and other business functions.


DETAILS


This position sits in Atlanta, GA, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to split time between the office and home.


Compensation ranges from $195,000 to $215,000.
