Transportation ManagerHourly Wage: $15.59 - $21.10 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differentialAs a Gate Station Attendant Level I, you will be responsible for controlling, inspecting, recording and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic.WHAT YOULL DOInspect & record inbound vehicle dataVerifying correct load & temperature settingsUse of Yard Management systems.Process Company Driver check-in paper workNotify Safety Department of safety or security accidents, incidents, or violationsAssist with custom haul load and paperwork trackingApplies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma or GEDGood verbal & written communication skillsBasic computer skills in Microsoft Work & ExcelAbility to work independently and as a teamYOU MAY ALSO HAVE College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)Prior transportation knowledgeExperience communicating positively & effectively with internal & external customersROLE SPECIFICS Schedule: Wednesday SaturdayHours: Wednesday 6pm-12am/Thursday Saturday 6pm 6amIndoor / outdoor work in all weather conditionsIndependent work that is often unsupervised WHO WE ARE Dot Foods makes products more accessible and affordable to the food industry.
