SALMON Health and Retirement is seeking a Chief Sales Officer to join our dedicated Sales and Marketing Team.


The Chief Sales Officer will be responsible for overseeing all marketing operations of and communication efforts for the organization’s full continuum and develop its marketing strategy and vision. Lead a team of in-house sales professionals and a supporting network of vendor partners to support sales and accelerate high-quality lead generation, lead conversion, brand communication, and new business initiatives. 


Qualifications

  • Independent Living and Assisted Living Sales and Marketing experience is a must.
  • Understands our market, customers and their experiences with SALMON.
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in writing and verbally and for a variety of purposes including informational, persuasion, motivational and meaning.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be passionate about
  • Understand and articulate the nuances among our continuum of services and can set SALMON apart from our extensive competition.
  • Project development and management skills – ability to lay out a roadmap to successful execution of projects and initiatives. Strong leadership and project development skills.

 

 

  • Prior experience that includes sales and marketing functions; Direct to customer sales, CRM management, pricing, field marketing and creative services.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and extract trends from data, and to formulate strategies. Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Must be able to think from both analytical and creative perspectives and possess an understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for sales and/or marketing aspects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Experience at a management level within a multi-site operating company, preferably senior housing and health care or hospitality.
  • A bachelor's degree is usually required and an advanced degree in marketing, communications, related field or business (MBA) is a plus.
  • Approximately 10 years of well-rounded sales/marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility as well as three to five years of experience in a leadership, supervisory or managerial role.
  • Previous experience with Yardi preferred
