Senior Designer (Newborn Apparel, Accessories & Toys)Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite 5x a week Salary Range: 90-115KDepartment: DreamgroESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDreamgro is growingand were looking for a Senior Designer with deep experience in newborn and infant apparel & accessories to help shape the future of our product lines. This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong fashion and color sensibility, and is excited to lead design initiatives from concept through productionLead and manage line plan implementationAssign and relay projects to the design team; oversee workflowCreate and manage tech packs with precisionConduct trend, market, and color researchHelp organize and implement new department protocolsDesign silhouettes, colored CADs, and presentation materialsServe as a key partner to the Creative Director to bring vision to lifeAct as a liaison between product and packaging teamsCollaborate with Spec Tech and Production to stay aligned on approvalsFacilitate color selections and art sizingEnsure compliance with all brand and retail guidelinesLead special-request design projects as neededSet up line presentations and buyer presentationsManage sample and fabric handoffs for overseas sourcingCommunicate effectively with the production team throughout the processPerform related duties as assigned.COMPETENCIESSenior-level experience in childrens wear (required)Strong understanding of the baby and childrens marketProficiency in Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopExcellent communication skills and detail orientationAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative, positive attitude and leadership approachStrong fashion, aesthetic, and color sensibilityEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelors Degree in Design, or a related field; with 6+ years of experience*Portfolio required with application
