Job Qualifications/Requirements :
Registered X-ray Technologist by the ARRT.
NY State Radiologic Technologic license.
Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State is a plus.
Successful completion of an accredited program for radiologic technology.
Minimum of 1 year experience as an X-ray technologist preferred.
Flexible working hours and excellent organization and communication skills are essential.
Job Description :
Specific duties/responsibilities include but not limited to:
Acquisition of high quality images based on predetermined imaging protocols set by interpreting radiologists.
Patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications.
Obtaining patient history and discussing procedure process with patients.
Running quality assurance checks on equipment, documenting and taking action as needed.
