Robotics Technician

ROBOTIC TECHNICIAN

Position Type: Full-time (Direct Hire)

Position Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Position Salary: $28.00-$33.65/hour + overtime

Position Location: Rossford, OH

position Supervisor: Engineering Manager

SUMMARY: Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robots and automated production systems. Drive the continuous improvements of all set up programs and work cell setups.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers or end-of-arm tools.

Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.

Assist in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems.

Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.

Train other personnel to install, use, or maintain robots.

Troubleshoots equipment and processes, including mechanical and electrical problem solving.

Partners with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure quality of production.

Other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

High School diploma or GED equivalent-College degree a plus

Certified Robot Training

Proficient with Fanuc and ABB Robots
