Once you've had a chance to explore our current open positions, please apply to the one you feel best suits you You can keep track of your progress in the selection process as well as stay updated on new positions that might interest you.Shift: 7a-3:30p w/every other weekendScheduled Weekly Hours: 16Position Purpose:Prepares processes and cleans linen for Medical Center, Main Clinic and the Health Centers service accounts according to accepted Healthcare industry standards following BSI protocols.Essential Functions:Process and clean contaminated linen according to BSI protocols.Operates computerized laundry equipment.Process linen via mechanical or manual functions according to BSI standards.Prepare linen for CGH Couriers to transport to CGH Health Centers.Prepare linen carts for delivery to the hospital.Examines linen for quality (i.e. stains and wear).Performs other linen cleaning related duties.Weigh all clean linen and contaminated linen carts being transported to and from the hospital.Specialized Know-How & Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Valid Illinois Operators License preferred.Compensation Range: $16.00 - $24.00Available Benefits for PRN Positions:Gift Shop DiscountCGH Day Care DiscountCGH Dietary DiscountEmployee Assistance ProgramCGH Pharmacy DiscountCGH Vision Center DiscountThank you for your interest in a career at CGH Medical Center.
