Job Spec

Mosaic Insurance in looking to hire a Project Manager/Business Analyst role in its NY office. This is a full-time opportunity that will work on multiple IT and Ops efforts.

 

Responsibilities

·        Interact with IT and Ops leadership to identify project portfolio of efforts; coordinate with Mosaic change projects where necessary

·        Organize a delivery structure around each effort leveraging internal and external third-party resources

·        Own overall project delivery, including project scoping and planning, project stakeholder management, tracking delivery status/maintaining project status dashboards, identifying/managing/solutioning and escalating, where necessary, risks, issues and dependencies

·        Conduct prioritization meetings and status meetings

·        Work with vendor partners on developing effort estimates and delivery milestones

·        Document business requirements and scope documents that can be used to inform the delivery team 

·        Facilitate project closings, handover to BAU, and track benefit realization

·        Maintain project-related documentation, audit artifacts, and status reports in SharePoint


Skills, Experience and Education

·        Five or more years of project management and business analysis experience

·        Proven success working with all levels of management

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

·        Preferred experience in smaller-size insurance organizations such as MGAs, brokers, insurtech, or carriers

·        Knowledge of basic P&C or specialty insurance terminology is a plus

·        Knowledge of Lloyds syndicate operations is a plus
