Ruby on Rails

Role : Ruby on Rails ( Sr Developer & Lead )

Location : Remote

The ideal candidate would be full stack that can work on Ruby, Vue and Java.

Second best would be someone with good front end or backend skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

Create innovative solutions to meet the needs of business and to improve the overall health and reliability of the applications.

Support and ensure we’re aligning with the Enterprise Infrastructure and toolsets.

Work with the QA team to fix any potential defects before deploying into production.

Collaborate with the production support team on handling eventual incidents.

Required Qualifications:

Ruby on Rails or similar MVC framework knowledge (Django, Spring, etc.)

Ruby experience or similar dynamic language (Javascript, Python)

MongoDB or similar NoSql database.

Front end skills (HTML, CSS, Vue.js or similar).

Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Attention to detail and clean coding skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with testing automation (unit, integration, system, load).

Knowledge building Java backend services without a framework.

Experience in Kafka or other event streaming technologies.

Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices.

Healthcare industry experience.
