As part of the Coronary Therapies franchise, the Senior Project Manager will play an integral role in the Drug Eluting Therapies (DET) portfolioone of the company's most dynamic and high-growth areas.This position will lead a variety of new product development and strategic operations initiatives, ranging from small-scale tasks to large, complex programs. The Senior Project Manager will provide cross-functional leadership and partner with key stakeholders across global manufacturing sites and business units to ensure effective execution and alignment with strategic objectives.This role requires collaboration with teams across R&D, Design Assurance, Packaging, Regulatory, Process Development, Operations, Supplier Engineering/Quality, Supply Chain, and Clinical functions.Your responsibilities will include:Lead cross-functional teams on projects of varying size and complexity, including NPD, design changes, line extensions, and corporate initiativesDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigationPrioritize and allocate cross-functional resources efficientlyIdentify, communicate, and resolve technical and business risksProvide structured project leadership and delegate responsibilities effectivelyLead decision-making processes and present progress to senior leadership and governance boardsEnsure full accountability for project success from concept through commercializationCommunication and stakeholder engagement:Maintain clear, timely communication across functional teams and leadershipEscalate critical decisions to functional leadership or governance boardsServe as a liaison between the team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparencyTeam leadership and people development:Coach and guide geographically dispersed, cross-functional teamsFoster a collaborative, high-performing team environmentProvide performance-related feedback to functional managersProduct and compliance oversight:Guide teams through product design, process changes, and technical decisionsEnsure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standardsIdentify and manage compliance and quality risks throughout project lifecycleProcess and systems leadership:Apply Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP) best practices to drive high-quality outcomesUse Boston Scientific's quality systems to ensure process complianceContribute to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningDrive improvements in cross-functional systems and operationsKey leadership competencies:Strategic thinkingCommunicationPlanning and prioritizationCross-functional collaborationInfluence and decision-makingRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or project managementMinimum of 7 years' experience in project or program managementProven experience leading both small and large cross-functional project teamsAbility to travel internationally up to 10%Works independently with minimal supervisionPreferred qualifications and competencies:PMP (Project Management Professional) certificationExperience in product development or product lifecycle managementStrong organizational, execution, and communication skillsComfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholdersStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsTechnical problem-solving expertiseCompensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.Boston Scientific Corporation has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity employer.
