Emergency Room CnaWe are seeking an Emergency Room CNA, also referred to as an Emergency Department CNA or (ED CNA) or an Emergency Services CNA (ES CNA). An Emergency Room CNA (ER CNA) assists nurses and doctors in the emergency room/emergency department by providing patient care, monitoring vital signs, helping with procedures, and ensuring medical supplies are stocked. They also transport patients, document observations, maintain infection control, and offer emotional support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Bonus: Up to $1,000Shifts Available: Nights ($2 differential in pay)Employment Type: Full TimeLocation: Providence Medical Center Kansas City, KSHere are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare:Health, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid vacation, sick time and holidaysBereavement leave, FMLA and other leave optionsEmployer 401K optionsTuition reimbursement optionsLife, disability, and other insurance optionsMany other amazing benefitsResponsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Help patients with basic needs (bathing, dressing, toileting), reposition and transfer patients as neededMonitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration), assist with wound care and dressing changes under supervisionPrepare rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked, transport patients within the hospital (to imaging or other departments)Assist with procedures (e.g., setting up equipment, applying splints), perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support if certifiedRecord patient information and observations, report changes in patient condition to nurses or doctors and provide emotional support to patients and familiesClean and sanitize patient areas and equipment, follow hospital protocols to prevent infection spreadQualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, requiredCurrent BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain currentAdditional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Possesses knowledge of Medical TerminologyAdditional Qualifications That Are a Plus:Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferredFull benefits at Prime Healthcare:
