Position Overview:
The Weekday Overnight On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) - Baylor Shift Pay is a full-time, salaried, non-exempt on-call role scheduled from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. This position does not require weekend work.
Compensation:
The salary is structured around a 40-hour work week, ensuring pay regardless of the actual hours worked. If no calls are received and no visits are conducted, the RN will still receive the full 40-hour salary.
Responsibilities:
The RN will handle initial patient contact and triage through a clinical triage service before escalating issues to the on-call team lead RN. The role includes occasional PRN after-hours visits and some scheduled evening appointments. Enjoy a flexible and autonomous work environment that allows you to leverage your clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Triage all agency patient-related phone calls
- Document all patient communications using EMR and team email
- Provide care to patients and families based on current nursing principles

- Understand family dynamics and work effectively within various family systems

Qualifications:
- Current NH RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of direct care experience preferred
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Telephone triage experience preferred
- Proof of Flu vaccination
- Reliable transportation
- Active driver's license and automobile insurance
- Recent physical exam
- TB shot
