Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid Posted: November 12, 2025 Job Type: Full Time Req# 2025-5293 IT Position Summary The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator manages Empower's secure, scalable, high-performing cloud systems, supporting our mission to deliver life-changing medications efficiently and affordably. This role optimizes cloud environments, collaborates across teams, and drives innovation to ensure seamless operations that empower healthier, happier lives. Duties and Responsibilities Designs, implements, and optimizes scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, including network architecture, storage systems, and server configurations, using tools like Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS), and VMWare. Manages and operates Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud systems. Implements security controls, access management, and disaster recovery measures to protect infrastructure and data while maintaining high performance and cost efficiency. Troubleshoots and resolves infrastructure issues promptly, collaborating with architects, developers, and system administrators to ensure smooth operations. Documents infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures while staying updated on cloud technologies, best practices, and trends to drive continuous improvement. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with expertise in virtualization, containerization, networking, security, automation, and hands-on experience in monitoring tools, supported by relevant certifications. Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related role in lieu of a degree required or Associate degree in computer science and information technology. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Certified - Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
