Minimum two years of experience in ServiceNow Telecommunications Service Management (TSM)

Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Certified Implementation Specialist in CSM and FSM

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, including:

Data types (strings, numbers, booleans, arrays, objects)

Control structures (if/else, loops, conditional statements)

Functions and modules

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts (classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism)

Proficiency in JavaScript, including:

Syntax and semantics

DOM manipulation and events

Asynchronous programming (callbacks, promises, async/await)

Error handling and debugging

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and XML, including:

HTML structure and syntax

CSS selectors and styling

XML syntax and parsing

Web Development/Front-End Skills:

Strong understanding of web development concepts, including:

Responsive web design (RWD) and mobile-first development

Single-page applications (SPAs) and client-side rendering

Web performance optimization (WPO) and accessibility

Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries, including:

React, Angular, or Vue.js

Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks

Experience with web development tools, including:

Webpack or other modulebundlers

Babel or other transpilers

ESLint or other code linters


ServiceNow Specific Skills:

In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow development, including:

ServiceNow architecture and data model

Table and field structures

Business rules, workflows, and approvals

Scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, etc.)

Integration with external systems (REST, SOAP, etc.)

Experience with ServiceNow development tools, including:

Studio (application development, scripting, and debugging)

Update Sets (managing and deploying changes)

ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.)

Familiarity with at least 3 ServiceNow modules and applications, including:

IT Service Management (ITSM)

Database Skills:

Strong understanding of database concepts, including:

Data modeling and schema design

Normalization and denormalization

Query optimization and indexing

Proficiency in database management systems, including:

Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)

Experience with database design and development, including:

Creating and modifying database schemas

Writing SQL queries and stored procedures

Optimizing database performance and troubleshooting issues

Information Architecture Skills:

Strong understanding of information architecture principles, including:

Taxonomy and ontology

Content modeling and metadata

User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design

Experience with information architecture tools and techniques, including:

Creating and managing taxonomies and ontologies

Designing and implementing content models and metadata schemas

Developing and maintaining information architecture documentation and standards

Familiarity with information architecture frameworks and methodologies, including:

Zachman Framework

TOGAF

Information Architecture Institute (IAI) standards

Additional Technical Requirements:

Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git

Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure

Understanding of DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment

Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL

Familiarity with security best practices and compliance regulations

Nice to Have:

Experience with other programming languages, such as Java or Python

Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, etc.) and orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.)

Certification in ServiceNow development or administration

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
