Customer Focused.The Warehouse Manager is a salaried full time position reporting to the Director of Warehouse Operations whose primary function will be to direct all warehousing activities and staff at the Standard Logistics Dallas Warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess significant operational experience and knowledge in managing warehouse operations to include: labor planning, budgeting (operational and capital), facility/site management, procurement, capital planning and safety for warehousing operations.This Warehouse Manager position is accountable for managing and leading all aspects of warehouse operations for the Dallas, TX location. They are also accountable for setting and achieving a financial budget, safety compliance, and product quality metrics. The Warehouse Manager will create a culture of teamwork, adding value through excellent service to all customers internal and external.Essential Duties:Focus on safe operations within the warehouse. Drive the safety culture with direct and indirect teams. Completes required reporting (internal/OSHA) and conducts investigations for all accidents or injuries involving warehouse operations to include 3rd party drivers on site. Provide ongoing safety, training, meetings, safety documents, and poster and safety campaigns. Work with the Director of Safety to identify risks, mitigate and develop a training plan for the team.Manage an annual budget for both operations and capital expenditures.Manage capital project execution at the Dallas warehouse location.Evaluate team and operational performance, establish key performance indicators (KPI's), publish/report on KPI's and implement action plans to increase performance and productivity.Conduct quarterly inventory cycle counts (300+ SKU's) valued at $18M.Advanced knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and processes, such as FIFO, LIFO, WIP, physical counts, cycle counts and process controls is required.Own Standard Industries operating companies relationships. Ensure monthly billing is accurate, and operational metrics are being met.Work with the customers' supply chain team to coordinate pick-up and delivery of raw materials, as designated, ensuring no production downtime as a result of inventory availability. Work with Customer Transportation Planner / Logistic Manager to coordinate timely delivery of finished product to customer base. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications. Base Salary Range: $92,000-$126,500
