This role contributes to Heartland Harvest, Inc's success by performing a primary role of blending, but assigned activities in a variety of environments for each of the operations in the facility as needed, while following all HACCP procedures, ensuring quality measures are met.

Essential Job Duties And/Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible to have a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the Utility position
  • Compliance required with safety procedures and programs
  • Detailed and In-depth cleaning and sanitation of each operations area from debris, materials, and pests
  • Assists and fills in for production staff in all areas as needed by management including batching, packing, warehouse and other departments
  • Responsible for the food safety of the facility and following Good Manufacturing Practices protocols
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Heartland Harvest management

Requirements

  • Must be able to learn and have an understanding of the extrusion process
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks, detail oriented, understanding of the food industry and safety standards
  • Basic Math Skills Required
  • Exceptional, grammar, writing, and documentation skills required
  • Teamwork and communication skills required
  • Sense of urgency is a must
