Position Overview:
As a CDL Utility Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential waste and recycling services to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to collect and transport waste or recyclable materials to designated disposal sites or recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.
- Perform waste or recycling removal services by efficiently emptying containers into the truck and transporting them to the appropriate location.
- Execute roll-off delivery and removal services according to assigned routes or specific work orders.
- Deliver and replace trash or recycling containers as required.
- Ensure proper cleanup of any waste spills or overflows.
- Maintain accurate route and driver logs, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Engage professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Regularly clean the truck body and packer blade.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting maps.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including prolonged exertion, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
- Skilled in operating all types of trucks within the fleet, demonstrating excellent driving and maneuvering abilities.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is advantageous.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers.

Working Conditions:
- Must possess a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain one prior to employment.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old and have no more than three moving violations in the last two years.
- No DUI or OVI offenses within the last five years or two in the last ten years.
- Potential exposure to high traffic and tight driving environments, as well as residential and commercial waste.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required, along with availability for 24-hour emergency calls.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.
