This role protects our margins, schedules, and reputation by running a tight, organized operation behind the scenes.What You'll DoInventory & Warehouse OwnershipMaintain accurate inventory counts, locations, and job allocationsReceive, inspect, and log all incoming materialsStage materials by projectlabeled, inspected, and load?readyPerform routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepanciesMonitor reorder points and flag shortages before they impact jobsKeep the warehouse clean, efficient, and safePurchasing & Materials CoordinationCreate and manage purchase orders tied to specific projectsCoordinate inbound deliveries with suppliers and carriersTrack shipments and resolve damages, delays, or shortagesAlign delivery timing with production schedules and shop capacityShop Operations & EquipmentMaintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety standardsOperate forklift and move materials safely (we'll train you if needed)Coordinate basic equipment and vehicle maintenanceEnsure tools, racks, and storage systems stay functional and orderlyDelivery & Internal LogisticsCoordinate material loading and delivery schedulesEnsure trucks are loaded accurately and efficientlyCommunicate material readiness to the Project Coordinator and field crewsTroubleshoot material or logistics issues during active jobsProcess ImprovementImprove inventory systems, staging flow, and shop efficiencyDocument procedures for receiving, staging, loading, and auditingReport on inventory health, shortages, and job readinessWho Succeeds HereDetail?oriented with strong ownership instinctsHands?on and comfortable in a physical work environmentCalm problem?solver when deliveries or plans changeOrganized and disciplinedyou follow systems and create orderTakes pride in a clean shop and jobs done rightWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Ability to lift to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable with standing, bending, and moving throughout the dayStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle stress and adapt when priorities shiftPreferred (we'll train the right person):Experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, or flooringPurchasing or inventory management backgroundForklift certification or willingness to obtain oneFamiliarity with inventory or job management softwareCompensation & BenefitsPay: Based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePTO and 401(k) with company matchStable MondayFriday scheduleno nights or weekendsOpportunity to grow with a quality?focused company#J-18808-Ljbffr
