Responsibilities may also include inventory stock transfer/replenishment responsibilities. Employee type: Full time. Location: ND Grand Forks. Job type: Supply Chain Planning. Work schedule: Primary work schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Friday, with flexibility as needed. Work location: 1801 N 36th St, Grand Forks, ND. Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $61,000 - $104,000 annually with additional bonus potential.Position responsibilities:Translates weekly item level master schedule into daily, line / shift level schedule aligning business priorities with plant / operational efficienciesDaily communication with operations regarding production schedule and any potential changes, keeping changes to a minimumAdjust and optimize production schedules as needed due to incoming crop and variables associated with intakeKeep key stakeholders apprised of potential problems or issues impacting the businessManage Material Planner to ensure components are available to support the production schedule and maintain targeted inventory levelsCoordinate with Life Cycle Analyst and Material Planners to manage through product transitions and exits to minimize financial exposure to the companyFor some locations/plants, responsibilities may also include inventory stock transfer / replenishment planningUtilize systems to continuously drive efficiency and improve productivity as well as optimize schedulingEnsure successful 'Event' execution by utilizing effective planning processes, system set-up, and communication with the cross functional teams (new products, customer promotional / merchandising events)Set-up and maintain systems to facilitate efficient inventory management, customer service, and operational metricsTrack and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targetsQualifications and requirements:Experience with an ERP system; knowledge of SAP, AS400 desiredEducation: Associated degree; type Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field preferredCertification preferred for position: APICS (American Production Inventory Certification Society)Demonstrated analytical and communication skills, and technical knowledge requiredMinimum 2 years supply chain, production scheduling, demand planning, or operations experience preferredExperience in managing a high level of SKUsWorking knowledge of S&OP processes and procedures, as well as supply planning desiredStrong Excel skillsEEO Statement: Winland Foods seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool, and as a global company we believe our success is enhanced by fostering equity and inclusion in the workplace.
