Job Description:
The AV Support Technician provides vital support for audio-visual (AV) and video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment in conference rooms, ensuring smooth operation for presentations and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- AV Support: Set up and manage AV equipment for conferences, including preparation, post-conference checks, and presentation of materials using installed or provided equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain various VTC equipment such as cameras, microphones, and audio/video devices.
- Troubleshooting: Conduct routine tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems.
- Scheduling: Reserve and set up AV equipment as needed, coordinating with the remote parties to update the reservations database.
Education and Experience:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technology customer support with a focus on AV and technical infrastructure.
- Technical Skills: Practical experience with AV-integrated technologies, networking, Windows, Apple iOS, Crestron systems, collaboration tools, and AR/VR systems.
- Education: Associate’s degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional Skills: Basic experience with audio/visual and technical innovation, operational procedures, and supporting executive-level stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Energy, Resources, and Industrial sectors (e.g., Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Power, Utilities, Renewables, Manufacturing, Construction).
- Illustrative Duties:
- Assist in defining and analyzing business and user requirements for AV/VTC systems.
- Collaborate with the Engagement Manager on project onboarding and support.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
