Business Intelligence Engineer

My client is a growing and booming real estate company and is one of the largest housing companies across the United States. They operates a network of Manufactured Housing and RV communities nationwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse or data mart.
  • Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proven experience 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis, ETL development, and BI reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java is a plus.
