About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of general litigation experience to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, torts, and complex civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to advance their legal career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and handling discovery.
  • Prepare for and attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct client interviews, gather facts, and prepare witnesses for depositions and trials.
  • Draft and argue motions and manage trial preparation.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and offering clear guidance.
  • Assist with business development efforts, including client relationship management and networking.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida.
  • 3-5 years of general litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to case management and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
