Physical Therapist

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques, including orthopedics and trigger point therapy, and will be committed to providing high-quality patient care across multiple settings. This role involves working with patients in inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery to enhance their quality of life.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients‘ physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
* Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions tailored to each patient‘s needs.
* Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare teams.
* Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, discharge planning, and home community care strategies.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in acute care settings to deliver integrated patient care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility policies.

*Experience*
* A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Previous experience in orthopedics, home health, or outpatient settings is preferred.
* Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques is a plus.
* Knowledge of discharge planning processes and systems used in various care environments is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams are necessary for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
