Advantest America is the North American subsidiary of Advantest Corporation, the world‘s largest provider of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to the semiconductor industry. For over six decades, Advantest has led the way in developing new and innovative test and handling solutions for the global electronics industry. This is an onsite role located in Lake Forest, CA.
Advantest Test Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Product Manager who will contribute to the success of the Advantest Test Solutions‘ (ATS) System Level Test (SLT) and Burn-In (BI) product lines. This Product Manager needs to be a technology expert with strong acumen and knowledge of the commercial business needs to define the product fit in the market.
The Product Manager will help to develop the right strategies as part of Advantest strategic business plan process. In close cooperation with R&D, the product manager ensures that new products address upcoming application and technology trends in the semiconductor industry. In the introduction phase, the product manager develops the roll-out and communication strategy in close alignment with the business development and sales organization.
In the role of a Product Manager, you will:
- Act as a link between our R&D department and our customer field teams.
- Own the definition of competitively differentiated and profitable products by consolidating customer requirements, observing market trends, and translating these in detailed product definitions.
- Manage the ‘4 Ps of Marketing‘ (product, pricing, position, and promotion).
- Generate and present compelling product and solution related presentation material for pre-sales activities, trade shows and technical review sessions with customers.
- Support our field teams to provide the right technical, commercial, and strategic solution to our customers.
- Contribute managing Advantest‘s product lifecycle process for marketing aspects from product start/definition to product obsolescence.
- Support to set software and hardware roadmap priorities.
- Consult senior marketing and management on market trends and customer test strategies.
- All other duties as assigned.
You will work closely with customers, sales, business development, application experts, R&D, and product definition experts of the ATS platform and other product lines.
